I love being an entrepreneur. I love the freedom to do whatever I want and adjust my work-day after how I feel that day.
But, being an entrepreneur is also a journey of experiences and risks. You can’t really predict what’s going to work, and what doesn’t. You have to be willing to face your fears and go after your goals, no matter what it takes.
I had run my own business since I was 18. Both The Magic Life and my old business are in a very specific niche. I am a Spiritual Teacher and had known from very early in my life that this was my path in life. So spiritual based businesses are part of my business model, but it can also be challenging. It’s not clothes or food I’m selling, but helping Spiritual Babes by services and products for personal and spiritual development.
Here are 5 Things I’ve Learned as an Entrepreneur.
#1 Just Do It.
It’s super easy to convince yourself if you can’t do it, you aren’t worth it, you don’t have the skills, you don’t have the time or any other excuses, you can come up with. While it might seem true in your daily life and circumstances, you will soon realize that nothing changes, unless you do something to change it.
The very first step is to take a firm decision to make it happen, and being willing to do whatever it takes. Next step is to map out an action plan and start working on your goals.
A great example is writing a book; If you write one page every day for a year, you’ll have a manuscript for your book a year from now. Writing one page takes about 30-60 minutes according to how fast you write and how clear your idea or story is in your head.
I like to apply this example to all my projects. Make a little effort every day and soon you have a finished result.
#2 Map It Out.
I love planning and mapping it out on paper. I get like a billion ideas every minute. Getting them down on paper makes it easier to sort them and structure them into an actual plan. As a minimum, you’ll need a business plan, a marketing plan, a profit plan, and a branding plan. It creates a solid foundation under your business and makes it easier to be consistent in your work.
#3 Money is Very Spiritual.
If I had $1 for every time I had heard someone saying it’s not spiritual to want more money or exchange money for spiritual services, I would be a millionaire today. For many years, I bought into that idea, even though I knew, deep down, it wasn’t true. It’s bullsh*t!
It’s not the money which is not spiritual. It’s the way some people using money and the power lots of money can give.
Money is energy like anything else. It’s something the people way back developed to exchange goods. It is, after all, a lot easier to travel with coins and paper than with five cows, right?
If we look at money with spiritual and metaphysical eyes, money is worthless by themselves… it is after all just paper and metal. It’s humans who give money the value it has. Money is a physical thing we use to balance the energy between the giver and receiver of a product or service. The exchange happens, when the receiver agrees upon the cost, the giver had given the product or service.
I am very passionate about teaching manifestation of money because I truly believe everyone deserves to live a prosperous and successful life with freedom to do whatever they want.
#4 Ask for Help.
No one says you have to do everything by yourself. It had never been easier to get help from others and get in touch with experts.
We can talk back and forth, whether the internet and social media make the world smaller or bigger. But you will be able to find help in Facebook Groups, blogs, and websites. I will go so far to say; you also can get help on Instagram and Twitter by using hashtags.
If you need an expert, look it up on Google. People are googling the weirdest things, so why not google after someone who can help you.
Also, don’t be afraid to ask for help. Yes, you can find a lot of thing on the internet, but all the golden nudges that really would boost your business and life, can you only get from working with experts, life & business coaches, specialists or someone else, who works professionally with the topic.
If you can’t afford to work with a professional, then use Facebook Groups to get answers to your questions. But, remember to give something back, like being active and help others with their questions. You can also ask your family and friends. But the chances for, they can give you advice that will move you closer to success, is not so high. I talk a lot of business with my dad because he had been self-employed and an entrepreneur the most of his life, and he knows something about running a successful business.
If your mindset isn’t in check, nothing else matters. I use to say a manifestation requires 80% mindset and 20% actions.
If you read my story, you will notice, I have a lot of personal experiences with having a mindset that was almost sabotaging everything I had worked so hard on.
That’s a bummer!
Most people need to consistently work upon their mindset. There is happening a lot of things in our daily life, so having a great spiritual or meditational practice is essential for being successful.
We need our daily reminder of we are worthy and deserving of a happy life.
We need to keep in touch with the Power of Love.
Be reminded about the Love which living inside of ourselves.
We need to be reminded of the higher purpose of everything, and that we do have the power to change our lives and businesses if we aren’t happy with what we see and experience.
If you don’t fully believe, you deserve to have a prosperous, successful and stress-free life and business, it will be difficult to manifest it – and your mindset will very well be the reason to why you feel stuck.
